Andy is a professional photographer with more than 15 years of industry experience.

The foundation of his career was built during his time working as a staff newspaper photographer, where he honed skills in capturing award-winning images across news, sport, features and PR.

Working the news beat put Andy at the heart of real-life as it unfolded daily, with the task of telling a story often in one powerful image.  This experience is reflected in the style of his work and his ability to put people at ease to capture pictures that best tell their story – whatever the audience.

He set up as a freelance photographer in 2015 and now works with a wide portfolio of clients across the UK - covering corporate, commercial  and editorial assignments for news (print and online), magazines, websites and social media.

His approach to new briefs is to spend time understanding the purpose of the job and listening, advising and working with clients to produce the best and most beneficial end result.
